The event entitled ‘Can we complete gas market integration in the Danube Region by 2020?’  will be held at the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU and is jointly organised by the Czech Republic and Hungary, coordinating countries of the Priority Area.

For your kind information, we are sending the preliminary agenda of the Seminar enclosed.

The aim of the seminar is to focus on the challenges arising from the current development in the gas sector in the countries of the Danube Region and also considering the opportunities of the latest policy developments. The subject matter also provides incentives for examination with regard to geopolitical situation, infrastructural development and integration within the framework of important multilateral organizations like the European Union and the Energy Community.

The seminar will focus on the issue of future trends in the sector and open up a debate if the natural gas presents the future in energy in the Danube Region after 2020. The seminar also aims to assess the abovementioned trends and to identify main challenges and obstacles to the market integration and development in the natural gas sector.
