The event was organized by the Czech PA2 coordination team with the aim to share practical information regarding energy efficiency and renewable sources of energy implementation projects mainly to first applicants representing small to medium enterprises.

Following short opening remarks, five main topics were presented and discussed. Followed by Mr. Josef Pikálek, energy specialist from the energy and environment consulting company ENVIROS, with thorough guidance through the project implementation itself, accompanied by Mrs. Kristýna Braumová, ENVIROS grant specialist, introducing four model projects and their implementation.

Second panel of the seminar was opened by Mrs. Jana Lukáčová, project specialist from Intech Slovakia, presenting the Sustainable Energy Awards winner for 2017-project Sinbio, from preparations to completion and operation. Presentation was followed by introduction of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes (namely Interreg Europe, Interreg Central and Interreg Danube) and possible financing, cooperation and subsidies schemes with focus on SMEs by Mr. Pavel Lukeš, head of the Department of European Territorial Cooperation on the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic. Presentation was also focused on errors and gaps frequently made in application stage of the projects.

Final presentation was focused on the financing of such projects in the Czech Republic, led by Mr. Petr Krupa, from the strategy and marketing department of the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank, accompanied by Mr. Jiří Jež, Director of branch.
