REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON SMART GRID DEVELOPMENT IN THE DANUBE REGION, 18TH NOVEMBER, 2013, BRUSSELS
The Energy Priority Area is organizing a Regional Workshop on Smart Grid Development to assess the demand for smart grids in the Danube region, identify fields of common interest and to share best practices. Countries that are more advanced in their grid transformation can share their experiences with those that are still ahead of the process. The workshop is organized in the framework of the Danube Region Smart Grid concept and builds on the participation of Transmission System Operators (TSO), Distribution System Operators (DSO), Regulatory Agencies of Danube countries and European Commission experts. The workshop intends to pave a way towards cooperation in the field of smart grids in the Danube macro-region. The event will take place in Brussels on 18th November, 2013 and registration is open until 4th October.
