THE PRIORITY AREA 2 AND REKK PRESENTED THE DANUBE REGION SMART GRID ASSESSMENT REPORT AT THE SMART GRIDS TASK FORCE STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING IN BRUSSELS
The Priority Area 2 and the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK) were invited to Brussels by the European Commission to give a guest presentation about the newly published Danube Region Smart Grid Assessment Report. The Smart Grids Task Force Steering Committee meeting took place at the 2nd of April and was co-chaired by Mr Klaus-Dieter Borchardt (DG ENER) and Mr Paul Timmers (DG CNECT). Szilárd Árvay from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary gave a short overview about the Strategy and the activities of PA2 first, then Zsuzsa Pató, a senior researcher from REKK presented the main findings of the Report. The presentation generated several questions from the audience resulting in a fruitful discussion.
