Cross EU macro-regional strategies meeting on energy thematic was organised by Interact Programme in close cooperation with thematic coordinators of the EU Strategy for Alpine Region, the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (all Strategies together referred as MRS) and Danube Strategy Point, on the 2-3rd of April in Vienna (Austria).

On the meeting PA2 PAC of Hungarian Coordination, Annamária Nádor, held a presentation about the plans and activities of the priority area and EUSDR also.

The meeting was aiming to kick-off the exchange of experience and mutual learning across the MRS on cross-cutting issues of energy theme. Besides, the event addressed a question on how to better connect efforts undertaken by thematic coordinators of the MRS, the EU and national institutions in charge of delivering the EU Energy and Climate Policies. Moreover, the participants were invited to elaborate on potential activities for further collaboration across the MRS.
