Study on energy performance of buildings in the Danube Region

PA2 (CZ) has conducted a study on energy efficiency in buildings in the Danube Region in order to monitor the current measures in the field of energy performance of residential building stock (new and refurbished) implemented in the Danube region. The study includes comparison with the Renovation Wave initiative, long-term renovation strategies, EPBD and EED directives. Additionally, the study includes metrics of measures across the states of the Danube region and barriers of the compliance with the current EU legislation. The second part of the study put emphasis on identification of the best practice cases and their potential spread out in other countries.

 

The workshop is designed for experts, stakeholders and national/regional policymakers and public authorities, SG members of the PA2 to exchange on current situation in the Danube region and discuss the proposed measures established by the subcontractor of the study, the company SEVEn Energy s.r.o Czech Republic.
